THE GATES MILLENNIUM SCHOLARS

Summary: Funded by a $1.6 billion grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the program removes financial barriers to education for high-performing, low-income students of certain ethnic backgrounds. Applicants must be citizens, legal permanent residents or nationals of the United States and have a cumulative GPA of 3.3, among other requirements.
